Should I Choose a Kennel or an Individual Sitter for my Fur Kid?

This is a question that is asked frequently, and it’s a valid one. Both care models have their pros and cons, so it’s a matter of what works best for your family! Here is a small list that I’ve created to help you decide.

Individual Sitter:

• Your fur-kid is their only priority

• Less open availability, however this is due to the one on one attention that is provided.

• Zero or minute chance of interacting with other animals who may cause unintended harm.

• Calm and Quiet atmosphere.

• Personal, close bonds are formed with your sitter as you work with them regularly!

Kennel:

• There are many fur-kids being cared for, and less one on one interaction.

• Greater availability

• Potential to interact with other fur-kids, which can be a pro or con as accidents can happen during playtime.

• Loud stressful environment

• You form less of a one on one relationship with your caretakers as they rotate.
